Our vision
”Holdit shall be experienced as a forward-leaning brand in responsibility, transparency, and sustainability awareness within our industry.” – Anna Fahle, CEO
Our product and our promise
As a merger of the traditional electronic device and apparel accessory industries, we identify our key sustainability topics at the intersection of these two fields: product materials (including chemical restrictions and the use of recycled materials), packaging, and energy efficiency. We begin with our value chain, focusing on product features and quality by accurately measuring and taking responsibility. From a social perspective, strict policy compliance is crucial, and we value our staff’s social engagement.
Our Governance
Our governance procedure is guided by Accountability, Transparency, Ethics, Stakeholder interests and Decision integration.
The golden rule is that important decisions are made using our 4-eye principle.

General Goals
Our key focus areas include transparency, CO2 emissions, and circularity. We utilize our vast experience and local manufacturing capabilities to initiate and drive change, with staff engagement at the center. The cross-functional Sustainability Workgroup is establishing and monitoring all targets, showcasing them through policies, sourcing data, and communication channels.
TRANSPARENCY
Enrich all products, step by step, with all relevant data concerning contents, origin, and environmental impact.
MAP TRACEABILITY
Include sub-suppliers in Audit program and testing.
EMISSION FOOTPRINT
Reduce CO2 emissions per sold unit.

During 2025, work continued to strengthen sustainability performance through the EcoVadis assessment framework.
The latest assessment showed an improvement compared to the previous evaluation. We were awarded an EcoVadis Committed Badge, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to responsible business practices and continuous improvement.
Looking ahead, the long-term ambition is to progress from the current Committed Badge level to achieving an EcoVadis Silver Medal.
Our Work Tools
We map and set goals based on our Value Chain, with transparency and traceability at the core. We focus on Material sourcing, Production, Warehousing & distribution, and Own Operations.
Our method is to work in a Cross-functional workgroup to include responsible business within all company operations. We rely on our established policies for governance and guidance, and we adhere to business standards and regulations, such as REACH for chemical restrictions and GRS-certified recycled plastics. We are also committed to the Science-Based Targets Initiative (SBTi).
Our Materials
The material used in our product has a key impact on the environment. We focus on fully recyclable materials and use GRS-certified recycled plastic materials, as well as FSC-certified cellulose fibers. The third aspect is strict compliance with REACH regulations.

Summarizing "The How"
Q: How does Holdit work with sustainability?
A: Dealing with the fact that we work with a product made of plastic materials, in an energy-intensive process, and with long transportation, we must address all these areas from a sustainability perspective.
Plastic materials are the most flexible and resilient materials for protecting sensitive devices. We use GRS-certified recycled plastics whenever possible.
We regularly explore and test alternative materials, including those based on cellulose.
We choose an “open” packaging, using the least amount of packaging material possible.
We combine searching for production options in geographically close locations, including Sweden, with developing our production team and supplier collaborations in China, where we have access to the most advanced business know-how regarding our products.
For long transports, we have a “sea-freight-first” policy. At least 50% of the shipment must be transported by sea, and the decision to use air transport is a management decision. Our air transport is booked with the most energy-efficient aircraft available on the market.
We test and follow all EU-set chemical regulations. The REACH regulation in the EU aims to stop all chemicals in the EU that may be harmful to the health of EU citizens. Regrettably, this does not apply when buying directly from outside EU companies as a private individual; hence, not all products that enter the EU follow these regulations.
